Blood Donation Camp
A blood donation camp was organized by Kishkinda University at BITM campus on 19.Feb.2025 under the joint collaboration of the Kishkinda University, and BITM on the Remembrance of Smt. Basavarajeshwari 17th Death Anniversary. The primary objective of the camp was to encourage voluntary blood donation among students and staff, thereby contributing to the noble cause of saving lives.
Outcome
- A total of 205 units of blood were collected during the camp out of which Kishkinda university students were donated 100 units.
- Since the donation camp was organized jointly with BITM in same campus, the certificate of appreciation was issued on the name of principal, BITM.
- The donated blood will be used to support patients in need, including those undergoing surgeries, accident victims, and individuals suffering from chronic illnesses.
- The event fostered a spirit of compassion and community service among the university members.
Swachh Campus Abhiyan
As part of its commitment to social responsibility and environmental awareness, the NSS Unit of Kishkinda University organized a “Swachh Campus Abhiyan” on 25 September 2025 within the university premises. The activity witnessed active participation from NSS student volunteers of the Engineering departments, aiming to promote cleanliness and environmental consciousness on campus.
Walkathon – “Save Water And Save Trees”
A Walkathon on the theme “Save Water and Save Trees” was organized on 22 November 2025 (Saturday) at 9:15 AM at the Mount View Campus of Kishkinda University. The event aimed to promote environmental awareness and encourage the university community to take responsibility for conserving natural resources. It was the first Walkathon conducted at the Mount View Campus
