Welcome to the Kishkinda University Central Library, a vibrant knowledge hub that supports teaching, learning, and research through innovative and technology-driven services. It functions in close alignment with the University’s vision and mission, aiming to meet the diverse and evolving academic needs of students, faculty and researchers.
The Library has a good collection of books and non-books materials and is fully automated using the Integrated Library Management System KOHA (Version 23.05.02), which includes a Web OPAC for seamless access to resources. This automation ensures efficient circulation and provides convenient electronic services for accessing e-resources, journal articles, and previous question papers.
Modern digital and research spaces are available, equipped with desk lamps and LAN connectivity. The collection of e-books and e-journals is continuously expanded to support academic excellence. User-focused services such as extended working hours during examinations, the Book Bank Scheme and transparent usage policies further enhance the learning experience.
By fostering an inclusive, learner-friendly, and academically enriching environment, the Library remains committed to continuous improvement and scholarly excellence, serving as a cornerstone of knowledge and research at Kishkinda University.
