Kishkinda University is a state private University, which has been established in Karnataka state with TEHRD – Trust® as the sponsoring body through the Karnataka State Act. No. 20 of 2023 and passed by the Karnataka Legislature.
The mission of the Trust® and the University is to provide “Quality Education with deep sense of Commitment” for the upliftment of the masses and strongly believe “Education is at the Root of Human Progress”.

The university provides a broad spectrum of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs designed to meet industry and research demands.
Undergraduate offerings include B.Tech programs in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Pharmaceutical Engineering, along with Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). At the postgraduate level, the university offers Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs, emphasizing advanced knowledge, leadership, and practical exposure.
In its pursuit of research excellence, Kishkinda University offers Doctoral (Ph.D.) programs in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, MBA (Management Studies), Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, interdisciplinary research, and scholarly advancement.

Leadership
Dr. Yashvanth Bhupal has embraced the role of educational leadership at Basavarajeshwari Group of Institutions (BGI) since 1992. His magnetic charisma and forward-thinking vision have positioned him as a prominent figure.
Both in industry leadership and academic innovation, garnering accolades, and appreciation from those who have been touched by his visionary ideas and guiding principles. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in B.E. – Mechanical from M.S. Ramaiah Engineering College, Bangalore. And Master’s degree, MS in Manufacturing Management from BITS – Pilani and a Ph. D. from USA. & is also a Member of the Institute of Engineers and MISTE.
