Programme structure
Prof. T. N. Nagabhushana graduated from the University of Mysore, securing 10th rank, and earned his M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru.
He has an illustrious career spanning nearly four decades in teaching, industry, research, and academic administration.
He has taught advanced subjects such as Digital Control Systems, Neural Computing, Intelligent Systems, Computational Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence for UG and PG programs. His specialization is in the mathematics of Machine Learning, and he serves as a Scientific Advisor to Onco Technologies for developing AI/ML models for early cancer detection.
He has held several key leadership positions, including Principal of SJCE, Principal of JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida, Special Officer (E-Learning) at VTU, and Dean of Engineering & Technology at JSS Science and Technology University. He supervised 9 Ph.D. scholars, published over 70 research papers, and delivered more than 250 invited talks in India and abroad.
Prof. Nagabhushana has been a Visiting Professor at Korea University, Seoul, and a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at Hannan University, Japan. He is a life member of CSI and ISTE, has served on NBA expert panels, academic councils, and national technical committees, and has been listed in World’s Who’s Who (2009, 2018, 2019).
He strongly advocates outcome-based education and believes in preparing students to be future-ready through higher-order cognitive skills and active student engagement.
