Dr. Yashvanth Bhupal has embraced the role of educational leadership at Basavarajeshwari Group of Institutions (BGI) since 1992.
His magnetic charisma and forward-thinking vision have positioned him as a prominent figure, both in industry leadership and academic innovation, garnering accolades, and appreciation from those who have been touched by his visionary ideas and guiding principles.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in B.E. – Mechanical from M.S. Ramaiah Engineering College, Bangalore. And Master’s degree, MS in Manufacturing Management from BITS – Pilani and a Ph. D. from USA. & is also a Member of the Institute of Engineers and MISTE.
Appointed as the Managing Trustee of T.E.H.R.D Trust and Chairman of Ballari Institute of Technology & Management, Dr Yashvanth Bhupal was instrumental in the growth of Basavarajeshwari Group of Institutions as an educational ecosystem that has successfully catered to the constantly upgrading academic requirements of this century. Under his leadership, several noteworthy institutions specialising in Technology, Management, Business studies were added to the BGI Group. Under his adept leadership, the T.E.H.R.D – Trust® has been dedicated to delivering top-notch education to approximately 10,000 students while creating employment opportunities for 1000 individuals.
With more than two decades of hands-on experience in industry, he played a key role in initiating numerous ventures within the realms of steel, cement, and educational institutions since 1974. His multifaceted expertise spans across being a technocrat, consultant, educator, and a serial entrepreneur.
He has been a prominent representative in various forums dedicated to the advancement of industries and the promotion of entrepreneurship. He has been honored with the "VIDYARATNA" award by the World Peace and Safety Council in 2004. Additionally, he holds the title of "Corporate Associates Member" bestowed upon him by the Newspapers Association of Karnataka. Further recognition includes the prestigious "NAMMA BALLARI RATNA PRASISTHI" award from Sri. Mahadeva Arts & Cultural Trust in Ballari, as well as the esteemed "VANIJYA RATNA" accolade from the Ballari District Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
