Dr. U Eranna has completed his Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering in the year 1988 from JNTU Hyderabad, Master of Engineering in Control Systems from MSU Baroda and Doctor of Philosophy in the year 2006 from SKU Anantapur under communication domain.

Dr. U Eranna is expertise in the areas of Communication, Signal Processing, Image Processing, Neural Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Signals and Systems.

He has guided 9 PhD Scholars and guiding 3 Scholars currently. He has rich teaching experience of 36 years and has published 60+ reputed journals which include SCI, ESCI and WoS indexed and actively involved in developing the various curriculums and laboratories of the university departments to suit the academic activities according to the changes in the technology.

He is life member of ISTE and involved in administrative activities, Academic activities and also Member of the Advisory Committee and various committees of the BITM since it’s inception from 1997.
