Prof . Prithviraj Y. J. serves as a Trustee and Deputy Director at BITM,
Ballari, bringing a blend of academic excellence and industry experience to institutional development. He holds a B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from MIT, Manipal, and a Master’s degree in CSE from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. He also holds a professional certification in Project Management from Boston University.
He began his professional career at Infosys Ltd., where he worked as a Software Engineer and Software Architect for three years, contributing to projects in Retail, Supply Chain, and Logistics domains. Under his leadership, BITM has strengthened industry–institute collaboration by establishing Technology Learning Centres, Centres of Excellence, and finishing schools in partnership with multinational companies. He actively drives institutional growth initiatives and strongly advocates outcome-based education, skill-oriented learning, and industry-aligned academic practices.
