Corruption in educational institutions undermines the integrity of academic processes and the trust of students and parents. The Department of Lokayukta has conducted an investigation and analysis of anti-corruption measures in universities, focusing on practices, policies, and recent initiatives.
On 28th October 2024, Kishkinda University (KU) organized an Awareness on Anti-Corruption. It was attended by many prominent Professors, Directors and Students from different departments of the University and SP of Lokayukta & Team of Ballari District.
The Session on Awareness on Anti-Corruption was hosted by Mr. Gururaj, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Mathematics
The event began with a brief introduction by Mohammed Rafi, Inspector of Police, Lokayukta Ballari.
Then, Chief Guest Mr. Siddaraju C, Superintendent of Police, Lokayukta, Ballari, spoke about rules, regulations and practices to avoid corruptions.
All the dignitaries enthusiastically unveiled the poster, symbolizing their commitment to anti-corruption awareness.
The session concluded with the speech of our Dean Dr.V.C.Patil who educated the students upon the role of the youth in building an anti-corrupted society.
All Faculties, Staff and Students of IIIrd Semester B.Tech (CSE/ECE/EEE) were taught the Awareness of Anti-Corruption in the present Society and also how register a complaint too.
Awareness on Anti-Corruption Session ended with a huge success under the supervision of the Extra-Curricular Activities & Clubs Coordinator, Mr. Chaitanya Reddy.
The function ended up with a vote of thanks by Mr. Sangamesh, Police inspector, Lokayukta, Ballari.
