Kishkinda University celebrated National Youth Day on 16-01-2025 with great enthusiasm and reverence to honor the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a beacon of inspiration for youth worldwide.
The event, organized by the NSS Club under the coordination of Chaitanya Reddy, aimed to inspire students to internalize Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and apply them to their personal and professional lives.
Highlights of the Event:
- The day’s program commenced in the university open air theatre, where the Chief Guest, Dr. V.C. Patil, Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. He was joined by the event coordinator, faculty members, and student representatives. A floral tribute to Swami Vivekananda’s portrait, accompanied by an invocation song, created an atmosphere of respect and inspiration
- Dr. V.C. Patil delivered an impactful keynote address, emphasizing the importance of Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy in empowering today’s youth. He urged students to harness their energy and potential to contribute to the betterment of society and the nation. He also spoke about the critical role of discipline, education, and perseverance in achieving personal growth and societal transformation
- Faculty members and guest speakers elaborated on Swami Vivekananda’s timeless messages of self-reliance, service to humanity, and spiritual growth. They encouraged students to draw inspiration from his life and apply his teachings to face modern challenges.
- Students expressed their thoughts on topics such as "Youth Empowerment through Education" and "Swami Vivekananda’s Vision for India."
- Around 80 students actively participated in the event, demonstrating their enthusiasm and commitment. The competitions and activities provided a platform for students to
- showcase their talents, express their ideas, and connect with Swami Vivekananda’s vision.
