Overview

The Ph.D. programme in Physics at Kishkinda University is designed to promote advanced research in both fundamental and applied physics, enabling scholars to address scientific and technological challenges through innovative research.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a Master's degree (M.Sc. in Physics or an equivalent postgraduate degree in the relevant discipline) from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA.
Candidates must qualify the Kishkinda University Ph.D. Entrance Test (unless exempted under the applicable UGC regulations, such as eligible NET/JRF candidates) and subsequently appear for the Interview/Viva-Voce, where their research aptitude, subject knowledge, and proposed research work are evaluated.
Candidates who have successfully completed M.Phil. coursework with at least 55% marks (or the prescribed relaxation for reserved categories) or possess an equivalent qualification recognized under UGC norms are also eligible to apply.
Admission is subject to the fulfillment of the UGC Ph.D. Regulations and the availability of a recognized research supervisor and research facilities in the Department of Physics.
